Oporto Accounting has supported MOIDA’s expansion into Portugal, helping the South Korean K-beauty retailer establish its first stores in Porto and Lisbon as part of its wider European growth.
The firm coordinated the incorporation of the Portuguese company together with the accounting, tax, legal and HR requirements involved in bringing the local operation into business. The project was recently featured in ECO, adding external recognition to the work carried out around MOIDA’s entry into the Portuguese market

Supporting MOIDA’s market entry into Portugal
Part of Silicon2, a South Korean group with a growing international retail and distribution presence, MOIDA entered Portugal as part of its wider European expansion.
Oporto Accounting worked across the different areas required to establish the business locally, helping coordinate the Portuguese implementation while aligning the process with the wider international operation.

The multidisciplinary project was led by Bruno Varajão, with Pedro Cunha, Head of Legal, overseeing the legal work and Odete Silva, Head of HR, coordinating the HR implementation.
Portugal as part of MOIDA’s European expansion
MOIDA’s arrival in Portugal forms part of the brand’s wider expansion across Europe, where it is already present in markets including the United Kingdom, France, Italy and Germany.
The openings in Rua de Santa Catarina in Porto and Rua do Carmo in Lisbon’s Chiado district place MOIDA in two of Portugal’s most prominent retail locations, extending the brand’s European footprint while establishing a strong local presence in the Portuguese market.
