PT 2030 Productive Innovation
The PT 2030 Productive Innovation: Low-Density & Other Territories programme provides non-refundable grants to support SMEs developing productive investment projects across mainland Portugal. Whether you’re expanding production capacity, purchasing new equipment or launching innovative products and services, your project may be eligible.

SIFIDE: Tax Incentives
SIFIDE is Portugal’s R&D tax incentive scheme, allowing companies to recover a significant portion of eligible research and development expenditure through a corporate income tax credit.
Depending on the company’s R&D activity, support can reach up to 82.5% of eligible expenditure.
Eligible costs may include personnel, operational and development-related expenses incurred as part of a company’s normal business activities. Companies can also benefit indirectly by investing in qualifying R&D entities or investment funds focused on innovation.
Applications are submitted annually, with the deadline typically falling at the end of May of the year following the investment.
